The CD booklet notes are by Ulrich Hartmann and provide a short history of Estonia and its musical history with a paragraph on each of the composers whose works are performed. The original notes are in German with English (translation: Steven Clark) and French (translation: Babette Hesse) versions provided as well. There is also a page of biographical information on each of the musicians.
